Clinton also shared Harris' story of getting a summer job at McDonalds and flashing her "big smile" when handling customers, asking them how she could help. He noted that she never changed allegiance, even as her power grew. Clinton praised her record as a prosecutor and the plans she had for addressing issues related to housing, health care and business financing at home while rekindling America's ties with allies abroad.
While Clinton vacillated for a few seconds about the place of his presidency, he kept coming back to Trump. “During the first debate of this election season with a big smile on his face, I had to say: ‘I almost fainted when he said — because you have got to admit—he’s quite an entertainer—President Trump; nobody respected America anymore like they did when…'” she trailed off.
And finally, Clinton could not resist a final jab accusing Trump of only “admiring the late great Hannibal Lecter,” on cue earning laughter and pause from those in attendance.
